Our DH 18c and DH 18b all-purpose manhole cover lifters are the ideal tools for prying loose, lifting, moving, and reinstalling heavy manhole covers from round manholes or flat covers weighing up to 2,400 kg.
Our heavy-duty manhole cover lifters operate on a patented principle: a spindle with a support plate designed to pry open extremely tightly secured covers. This generates an enormous prying force, equivalent to several times the weight of the cover. This method ensures direct and effective force transmission and protects the manhole cover and its surroundings, because not only is enormous force applied to the cover, but the manhole cover frame is simultaneously subjected to downward counterpressure with the same force. This prevents the manhole cover frame from being torn out by simply pulling on the cover in an uncoordinated manner.

Additional attachment tools are required for this manhole cover lifting device, depending on the cover to be opened (see Accessories).
