The Hornet opens up completely new possibilities for the application of thermoplastic markings.

The Hornet thermal marking gun is supplied with a pressure reducer (4 bar) art. no. 684 for use with propane. In addition, it is supplied with a soft rubber hose NF EN ISO 3821 of 10 metres art. no. 963/10 and a spare quick release lever and piezo art. no. 42305.

Of course - as with practically all products in this range - the handle of the Hornet pistol also includes a quick coupling to enable the hose to be attached with a single click.

All these articles are delivered in a robust black case. .

The device was developed to ensure that thermoplastic markings with integrated reflective glass beads, which guarantee a high-quality floor marking, are not damaged during application.

This is the main reason why we deliberately limited the power of the tool to 90 kW. This power is more than sufficient for the pre-treatment for an efficient and sustainable application of marking materials fixed by heat.

The tip from Express Shrink Wrapping:
Ideally, a burner tube with a higher capacity should also be used, for example with the capacity of our art. no. 10151. It is equipped with a long straight burner of 160 kW / 553 000 BTU/h art. no. 1151, in order to carry out a treatment to complete the adhesion process on very specific coatings. To this day, when presenting their road marking solutions, manufacturers too often forget to mention the added value of this second phase, which in our experience is often the decisive factor for the faultless and long-term adhesion of the marking tapes applied by heat.
