The EN ISO 20471 protection standard for high-visibility jackets and high-visibility pants is divided into 3 classes.
Class 3 is the highest level for passive road users and speeds above 60 kmh.
Class 1, on the other hand, classifies the wearer as a passive road user for vehicle speeds of less than 30 kmh.
Consequently, for warning protection, class 2 applies to the average value for traffic speeds between 30 and 60 kmh.
