The diaphragm pump is much better than its reputation. What you should pay attention to is the correct dimension of the diaphragm and the corresponding pump capacity. This should be above 5.5 litresmin to be able to process materials at cool temperatures. The big advantage of the diaphragm pump is the easy handling and especially the cheap spare parts. Maintenance is much easier compared to piston pumps.

Diaphragm pumps continue to pump even when you are not applying paint. At very hot temperatures the paint can harden on the membrane. Therefore, it is recommended to stop the machine if no paint is sprayed.
