According to demarcation technology

Colours on asphalt and concrete floors are demarked in a wide variety of ways. The most commonly used method is probably to knock off these colours. This means that a drum with applied tools is set in rotation. This then knocks the paint off the substrate. This method is mostly used on roads and also on concrete floors. For small areas or on very critical floors it is usually milled or sanded down.
