According to delivery rate
We very often discuss with our suppliers the relevance of the flow rate of machines with diaphragm and piston pumps. I myself, at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, cannot see any difference between a diaphragm pump with 5.9 litresmin and a piston pump with 6.1 litresmin. Both give a perfect spray pattern.
I have to admit, however, that the piston pump, especially with a hydraulic drive, is the better choice for difficult temperatures or materials. It simply has more power. Nevertheless, we sell 8:2 small devices with diaphragm pumps compared to piston pumps in Central Europe. The handling, maintenance and costs are in no relation.
